The Hustle Blueprint: Business, Branding, & Buzz
The Hustle Blueprint is a reoccurring business & marketing workshop designed to equip our young entrepreneurs with an executable understanding of how to develop, launch, and sustain a business. Hosted by digital strategist & KoK board member, Jason Velliquette, these 3-hour quarterly workshops provide structured, hands-on training focused on entrepreneurship fundamentals, brand positioning, and digital presence. Participants leave each session with practical skills and actionable steps to bring their business ideas to life and maintain long-term success.
Workshop Structure & Key Topics
In advance of the larger 3-hour workshop, participants will be instructed to develop their business concept, product/service, and name, so that they are prepared to focus on the execution of the following:
Hour 1: Business Foundations & Strategy – Understanding the business landscape, identifying a target market, developing a unique value proposition, and forming a business plan.
Hour 2: Digital Marketing & Brand Development – Creating a strong brand identity, social media strategy, content marketing, and best practices for business growth.
Hour 3: Website Development & Optimization – Hands-on guidance on setting up and maintaining a business website (via Squarespace), including domain registration, website design, basic SEO, and ecommerce integration.
Expected Outcomes & Impact
Through the Hustle Blueprint workshop, participants will:
Develop a business plan that outlines their vision, target audience, and growth strategy.
Create a strong brand identity including a professionally designed logo and brand messaging.
Build and launch a business website with essential pages, SEO optimization, and contact functionality.
Design a social media strategy to engage their audience and promote their business effectively.
Gain practical business execution skills by implementing what they learn in real-time during the workshop.
